Testimonials

Dan Grice: "Great Idea. I think its great that kids will be able to learn from coaches who have the player's best interests in mind. Developing talent while decreasing risk of injury through knowledge and training is something youth baseball needs. I wish I had a program like this when I was a kid."

Dan played several years of professional baseball, and spent time with the Chicago Cubs organization.

Carlos Castillo: "Development is the key to becoming a major league player and the silverhawks is the place to learn all the skills you will ever need."

Carlos signed with the Chicago White Sox and spent time in the Major Leagues with both the White and Red Sox. Currently, he's playing winter ball in Venezuela.

Scott Deremer: "I'll tell you what, when I was 11 or 12 I threw curve balls and messed around with all types of pitches because nobody knew better. With today's knowledge and specialists, kids these days have opportunities that are endless. It's not about trying to make it to the Big Leagues when you are a kid, it's about learning the game and playing it right. There are many players in the Big Leagues that do not have Big League talent and that is important for any kid to know...they are there because they worked hard and played the game right. Listen to the Silverhawks coaches and you will see yourself improve by leaps and bounds."

Scott spent several seasons in the minors. He understands the benefits of the proper conditioning, as he once threw 140 innings in a season with a torn labrum. We appreciate his support.

Denis Pujals: "Take it from someone that has had Ulna Collateral Ligament surgery "Tommy John Surgery". Proper mechanics is the essential in honing and developing your skills. This program is run by those that can properly teach the skills that you need to get to the next level."

A former 9th round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Denis has been at the highest levels of the game, spending time at the AAA level and playing in Mexico City. Currently, Denis is the pitching coach for the Diamantes de Miami in the Florida Winter League of Professional Baseball

Steven Blevins: Over the past year I have been lucky enough to get to know and work with members of Silverhawks Baseball. To reach your full potential you need to learn from the pros and with the Silverhawks that is possible. Anyone lucky enough to become a member of this great organization should take full advantage of the opportunities it provides.

Thanks Steve. Steve was drafted by the Minnesota Twins from Marshall University in 2008. Since signing, he has pitched at three different levels of the Twins organization. We appreciate his support and look forward to seeing him in the ML soon.

Zach Passerelle: I have worked with some of the people involved with the silverhawks program for several years now. They've gotten me better, taught me the game, and continue to help my development.

Zach is a senior at Sparta High School in New Jersey and has a scholarship to UNC Charlotte. He is a Left-handed hitting catcher who has the tools to be successful. Congratulations to him on his success and we look forward to helping him however we can.

Brady Rodgers: "This is a great program to be a part of...being a part of an organization like this will put a huge role in your future baseball career and will help you become a better ball player."

Thanks Brady! Brady is currently a collegiate baseball player at Arizona State University and was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2009 MLB Draft.
